Are YOU an Action Taker?

If you are new at internet marketing you may be struggling to differentiate between HTML and FTP. You may need help extracting a logo from a document. You may be doing all you can, like I am, to learn everything you can about internet marketing and how it's done.

I was privy to a Conference Call last night that featured savvy callers whose questions were well organized and those who posed them were well spoken. The most impressive thing about this call was the magic that drifted from the call's organizers.

Nothing happens by chance, in my opinion. Jeff Wellman had laid off his boss and was managing well enough when Dixie Brown waltzed into the picture. Dixie had strengths and experience where Jeff felt his business needed guidance and the two became partners. When Jeff met Paul Counts at a Joint Venture event, the two clicked and eventually they teamed up.

What this association teaches me is that NOTHING would have happened if each one had not TAKEN ACTION. If Jeff had not had the courage to take action in creating his program, Dixie would not have been on his conference call. If Dixie had not stepped forward to see how she could help Jeff, there would be no partnership. And if Paul had not moved heaven and earth to attend a live event, he and Jeff would not have met when they did.

If I had not picked up the phone, called for help, and Renita had not connected me with this group of leaders, I would still be banging my head on the keyboard, wondering how to proceed. I would never have known WHAT ACTION TO TAKE.

What action will YOU take?

Internet Marketing: 4 Keys to Making Real Money Online

Recently it was my distinct and pleasurable experience to participate in a webinar featuring the famed man from Lay Off Your Boss , the affable Jeff Wellman.

Not a man to UNDER deliver, Jeff OVER delivered and followed up his professional presentation with a message reiterating four of the keys to making real money online. It's important to pay close attention to Jeff's messages. He sprinkles much wisdom with his chatty greetings and you don't want to miss what his considerable and successful experience teaches. The man practices what he preaches.

Here are a few highlights from his latest offering:

  1. Step-By-Step Coaching

This one is really important because in order to succeed online you need step-by-step coaching from people who have been there before. It can be so difficult to understand how to succeed online without step-by-step teachings. If there is no proven step-by-step formula to follow than you are basically out on your own trying to figure things out. Everyone has to learn somehow so you may as well learn with a step-by-step system.

2. Website Traffic

Every website online needs traffic or website visitors in order to succeed. It is safe to say that without traffic Google, eBay, Amazon, and other major websites are nothing. The same thing holds true for your business. You can't get people to sign up for your list, buy your product, or click on your affiliate link without traffic to your site. Traffic is literally the lifeblood of your online business, is a core component that separates those that have succeeded well online and those that have not.

3. Technical Knowledge

In order to have some semblance of success you need to know some basic technical things like how to upload files to your web hosting company, how to use your hosting Cpanel, how to setup Wordpress on your own, etc. Armed with these basic skill sets you can really start seeing some success. In a future e-mail I am going to share with you a free video unveiling in detail a technical skill we all
need.

4. Support

Live support is probably one of the best solutions you can find to really succeeding online. Trying to find a program that lets you ask questions when you have them will really help propel you to succeed. Sometimes e-mail interaction is just not enough so being able to talk to an expert and turn to them for support will be huge
for you.

Jeff Wellman not only laid off his boss, he became KING of SUPPORT, along with his partners, Dixie Brown and Paul Counts. I daresay they are unparalleled in their delivery of technical and educational support in the entire industry.

What you may not know about Jeff--he is probably Burger King's best walking, living, breathing ad for BK Coffee!

Jeff has handed us four keys for making real money online. What doors might that open for YOU?

Can You REALLY Have a Profitable Internet Marketing Business From Home?

Might you be considering all the myriad offers coming to your Inbox touting the HowTo of generating an online income? Each sender is SURE you can make it big by building your business from the comfort of your own home using their recommendations. After you pay the ginormous enrollment fee, of course.

But what if you aren't out to make enough to move to Timbucktoo? What if you only want to meet your mortgage payment? What if you need to get your kid through college AND THEN you can build a castle in Cuckamonga or some other dreamy place? For NOW you only want to get a solid start.

Well, here is what someone said who got involved with one of my personal favorites, Rapid Cash Marketing :

"I've bought so many products-probably 35 or 40-and never once was I allowed to speak with the guru who took my money! When Jeff, Dixie, and Paul actually ASKED FOR our questions, I was amazed! I thought, 'WOW! I actually get to speak to these people in person!'" --Rapid Cash Marketing Student

The Question and Answer sessions Rapid Cash Marketing conducts are not only helpful but legendary. Here is the quote I took from last week's call:

"FOCUS: Follow One Course Until Successful" --Evelyn

I presume Evelyn got the same boatload of offers in her Inbox that has been coming to mine. It is OVERWHELMING! I agree with Evelyn that we can become seriously distracted by making the effort to learn everything from everybody.

Most people find this concept inviting: Lay Off Your Boss but I'm hearing more and more about people BEING laid off. If people in that circumstance do not have a back up system like an online internet business or some type of internet marketing strategy they may be in serious difficulty.

I feel gratitude that I am working online at home. I will most assuredly follow Evelyn's lead and stay in FOCUS. And I have every intention of being on the next Question and Answer call from Rapid Cash Marketing !

Robert Frost and Life?

Robert Frost said this: "In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on."

Boy. He got that right!

I have sweat blue gum drops in the past weeks to bring you some Goodies. Now, these goodies are not gift wrapped and there are no hundred dollar bills inside but I found something you may find useful if you are working to create an online business or if you are interested in a work at home opportunity model. Making money from home in these tense economic times is a growing trend and I so want for you to be successful in any venture you undertake.

The finishing touches are going on and the project will be checked and double checked. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated. I hope you do not feel as if you called our number and got put on hold!

In my research, I happened to locate a book you may be interested to see: Make a Fortune Promoting Other People's Stuff Online: How Affiliate Marketing Can Make You Rich By Rosalind Gardner, who is a highly respected online guru.

Your comments are always welcome in our comment box; they do need to be moderated before they are posted. We hope you will feel comfy to leave your comment before you move along. It would be great, as well, if you have the time to visit our partners. Thank you for your interest in this page.

Is There a Pandemic of Viral Videos?

Just for fun, I counted the number of offers that came to my Inbox today...would you believe there were 15? And that was all before NOON! And all but one included video or the link to a video presentation!

My point is that there are many places online-and 15 is only a fraction of that number of places-where someone who is interested to understand how to earn rapid cash could find a "guru program"; pay up, sign up, and study up. Of course, there would be follow up on the part of the guru to add to your bag of goodies.

I do not disparage any of the online learning programs out there because some are top notch and worth their weight in gold. Others? Not so much. It depends on your needs and your abilities and your own vision of what you'd like to have in a learning program.

One of the features of online marketing are those all important email marketing campaigns. Any guru worth his salt should provide you with information about the true purpose of email marketing, how critical it might be to develop a relationship with your list-as well as how to build a list and how to manage it.

If there are disadvantages to list building and email marketing messages, your guru should be able to point those out for you. You should be able to ask your guru any question you have about those details. Will there be live calls where you can ask questions? Will your guru have a support desk?

NO ONE but NO ONE likes online spam. Will your guru educate you about how NOT to spam? Will your guru enlighten you about spam filters and test messages? How will your guru address spam? Will there be webinars? Video tutorials? Personal consultations?

I know I have posed more questions than I have answered for you. The reason is that I want for you to think for yourself. I want you to explore the possibilities that exist so you KNOW what you are entering when you open the door as opportunity knocks!

If your eyes fall on this page and you are itching to comment, you are more than welcome to leave your comment before you depart. We really appreciate your feedback; we are all making this cyber-journey together!

Unanswered Questions about Internet Marketing?

Do you come to the computer, scratching your head and wondering how to manage technical issues? Do you ever wish you had a place to go where you could ask the questions you have when you meet a challenge and get straight, honest answers?

Home based businesses are like new babies in that they do not come with instruction books, guarantees or warranty papers.

If you choose a How To program to help you navigate the internet and all its opportunities and challenges you will benefit. If you choose the CORRECT program, you will benefit greatly.

As you look over the dizzying array of offers that come to your Inbox, make sure you find out if your would-be provider offers 24/7 support with a Help Desk. What kind of relationship will this provider offer you? Will it be a "Thanks-for-you-business; See ya" kind of relationship or will there be personal consultations involved? Will your provider be sending email marketing messages that are nothing more than "upsells" to get more of your cash? How about support GROUPS and live calls? Webinars? Is there ongoing cost involved for each added service?

Sometimes, without malice, internet gurus omit a piece of information you find you need. If that is the case, will you be able to fill in that gap without mortgaging your firstborn child?

There are so many, many programs being offered in today's marketplace. Your email inbox is stuffed with them, I'm quite sure. Some are great; some, not so much.

I have two personal faves. I will let you wonder what they are. If you REALLY want to know, look for a link at the bottom of this post.

My own internet journey has been a bumpy one. Yours may be, too. It's a steep learning curve, especially for a kid my age. But there's always hope and when you find a soft spot to fall, where you are totally accepted and appreciated and you are free to evolve and learn at your own rate, you will know in the middle of you-where you know things are true-that you have found YOUR Guru the program that is right for YOU.

WHEN THAT HAPPENS, GO FOR IT!

How Is YOUR Home Based Business Growing?

Have you launched YOUR home based business? Is it all you'd hoped for? It is profitable? Are you moving forward or are you stuck?

Could you use some advice and counsel? Do you search the many offers that appear in your Inbox, wondering what action to take next?
It could be that you might benefit from what the Team from Rapid Cash Marketing has put together. Being enrolled in their program was THE THING that helped me create some income!

I was able to learn how and where to earn from Freelance work. I got help knowing where to look for Freelance work, how to submit articles properly, how to find people who need Freelance work done. I found out that many online marketers are not interested to write copy for their own websites or blogs and are happy to outsource that type of work. Knowing about that helped me to have some rapid cash!

If no one finds your website the chances are nil you'll have sales. The whole issue of Search Engine Optimization had been a mystery to me. The Team at Rapid Cash Marketing has completely demystified that. They helped me understand how to look for Key Words and how those assist the search engines to find my site.

If you have a tooth that bothers you, the chances are good you'd call your dentist before you'd ask a coworker how to manage that situation. If you have a gunshot wound, you are not likely to take the time to ask your neighbor about their experience with such a thing. I would expect you to call the appropriate professional. The same applies to your Home Based Business. If you are stuck, if you are unsure about any aspect, if you hope to achieve more than you have up to this point, you need-and deserve-the professional guidance and unfailing support of Rapid Cash Marketing!

Should Blogs Be Monetized?

I feel a little like the husband who came home too late. He fully expected to find an angry wife, poised at the door, holding a baseball bat...she might demand, "Where have you BEEN?"

Like that husband, I have an excuse: This blog has been severely neglected in the past few days because I have been diligently preparing a gift for those of you who declared, "Yes. I want goodies" and entered your info in the box at the upper right hand corner of this page. It's just lucky for me you've been so patient. It is in the works and should be available very SOON.

I've also been learning more about blogging; hence I've posed the question, "Should blogs be monetized?" I'm sure you have seen ads on this very page; they are on the pages of most of the blogs you have ever visited. There are banners, there are messages with text and there are links. AdSense Ads by Google are very popular and work with your niche and the material that is written on your blog.

There are gadgets, plug ins, themes and features to consider. Google's Blogger has one set of features; WordPress has another collection.

There are so many way to express your creativity, your products, your passions and your business with a blog. I am finding that some people still do not understand what a blog is, so I am happy to share with you that a blog is simply a WEB LOG. It's like a journal, of sorts. Blogs can be intensely personal; they can be political; they can be serious or comical. They can even instruct. SIDEBAR: Ahem, we hope this is one of those! END SIDEBAR

I was able to "eavesdrop" on a conversation not so long ago where there was a long discussion about "PLUG INS"-features to make a blog highly functional for both blogger and visitor. Here is a partial list I heard about:
  1. Back Up for the data base. I can only imagine the devastation if one's blog suddenly vanished in cyberspace!
  2. All-In-One SEO pack. This makes Search Engine Optimization easier for the Google spider. If nobody can find your blog, what good would it do anybody?
  3. Google Analytics. A free program, this allows the blogger to better understand his traffic pattern.
  4. Twitter applications. These are proliferating like newborn kittens! These are the social network connectors that assist people all over the web to enhance their messages and help them be connected to other people.
  5. A statistics counter. I have a good pal whose visitor count has surpassed 11,000! She would not know this if it were not for her counter.
  6. A spam detector to deter those cranky, evil messages designed to fill all of cyberspace with meaningless drivel, or worse. Everybody hates spam.

Blogging is a wonderful outlet for expressing oneself. It is a way of reaching out to others and there are so many other good things to be said for blogging. I do believe blogging has replaced the pot-belly stove at the general store and the water cooler in an office. With blogging there are no geographic barriers.

Blogging is certainly here to stay. And yes, by all means, you should monetize your blog.
